Just like its blueprint,\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003ePitch Black\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eis part of the Mega Series and focuses on Pokémon and events seen in\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethe Mega Dimension DLC\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eof the Generation IX video game\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003ePokémon Legends: Z-A\u003c\/em\u003e, which has already inspired several other entries in the Mega Series. Specifically, the DLC, released in December 2025, follows the adventures of Team MZ having to deal with the spatial distortions created after the deactivation of Hyperrogue Ange Floette and the rebuilding of Lumiose City. In\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003ePitch Black\u003c\/em\u003e, both the city lights and the stars in the skies above Lumiose are obscured by the rise of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.cardmarket.com\/Pokemon\/Products\/Singles\/Pitch-Black\/Mega-Darkrai-ex-V2-PBL101?mode=gallery\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMega Darkrai ex\u003c\/a\u003e. This version is, unsurprisingly, the set's most valued card on the secondary market. Dhelmise is a peculiar Pokémon born from a piece of seaweed that merged with the debris of a sunken ship. Its Vengeful Anchor attack benefits from having four or more Pokémon with the Hide 'n' Sneak ability. Slowbro is a hermit crab Pokémon, and becomes more effective when we have no cards in hand.
